this will be a threat to sony for sure, the graphics maybe 5x as good as ps3 because ps3 graphics card is 8800 gen compare to a new graphics card that wii u installed... graphics is a big factor to a console... and i think wii u will be the most powerfull in graphics until ps4 and new xbox arrive... and we all know that nintendo is the most durable console to all of them...

Have to say, after seeing Batman armored edition for the WII U as demonstrated at E3 im getting more interested. Check out the vids on youtube - but its redone to use the weird controllers.

It's all a game (excuse the pun) , I believe Nintendo and Sony are working together to defeat Microsoft, just like what they did to Sega (Dreamcast). Why was the Wii launched with such a small CPU when it was clearly the most innovative of the other 2 consoles (Ps3 & Xbox360) with its*Wii Remote with Wii Nunchuk and wii board. Surely if it was as powerful as the competition it would be the number 1 unit in most households today. So why not make a more *powerful console and have all the big game developers developing games for your system, especially after you just saw how Ps1 destroyed the Dreamcast, how Xbox is challenging Ps2 and now there making a Ps3 more powerful than your Wii. (lol... Wake up and smell the coffe guys) Instead Nintendo follow Sega's example of making an extremely easy to hack system but sell it with the most peripherals.*

Meanwhile: Sony takes on Microsoft in launching very similar systems in relation to graphics and game playing style, but including free online play and blu-ray player.

Later: Sony adopts the Wii's Nunchuk (and becomes what the Wii should have been on launch day) and the Wii adopts Sony's PSP (Vita) in the form of the Wii U.*(and becomes what the Wii should have been on launch day). Lol.

Conclusion: Now the PS3 and Wii U are both on par with one another they can take down Microsoft.

Not to start anything, but Nintendo first, Sony last doesn't mean anything. Nintendo decided to go another way and left Sony with all the R&D. I'd do the same thing considering it was Sony that did all the work for them. And I believe Analog was more ripped off of Arcades then anything else. The Move maybe a knock off of the Wii-mote, but the who doesn't steal and knock off usually means lower or equal quality, the Move is much more than the Wii-mote will ever be. If PSN is ripping on Live then what is Nintendo doing with their Miis on the Wii-U (PS Home??). What was the Saturn if PS1 reeked of 3DO? Bluray is a joint venture. Uncharted was written by Naughty Dog, though own by Sony, reinvented/reintroduced that genre. The Kinect is an upgraded version of the Eyetoy. The eyetoy can also track the body, but was never used in such way. I'm no Fanboy, but I'm also no hater. It is what it is.
