And believe me, the pain can be so horrible I thought many times about killing myself in the past. And I still do if I have a 3 months cluster headache period again.

Only thing that keeps me from doing it is the knowledge there will be a moment the pain will disappear again and the knowledge my family still loves me despite the way I act (better not come near me) if I have a CH period.

Killing yourself is never a solution. Also think about people who lost someone to cancer or any other horrible illness. Those ill people fought every day to live and it is hard for them (the people who lost someone) to read someone healthy wants to give up the best present they ever got (life itself) for some family problems....

All I'm saying is nobody can tell you what is good for you but you.

We make many choices a day because most of the time we feel our decisions will benefit us or our loved ones immediately, in the near-future or the distant-future.

I will be the first one to admit that I have no clue what happens after death. I don't want to get into the possibility of an after-life because I'd like to keep philosophical beliefs out of this thread. We've discussed the topic many times and it always goes horribly wrong.

Personally, I don't want to see him do this. I'd be very sad even though I don't know him, but I respect his right as a human being to make his own choices.

I think the best we can do is ask him to think about this long and hard.
