Dongles always were on the *scene* but was a time when this one were open source = P3GO, etc. The first gen.
Now with Cobra, TB, (and who knows the next) it's just more profit.

You know hellsing I am with you on this dongle stuff and have noticed after a half hour of reading all the reply's that the people defending dongles only have 5-60 post. HMMM how interesting
In previous discussions about the same topic I see the same thing.

I wonder how many people that work for those companies monitor this site?

I seen someone post that when any new development is close to a breakthrough some no name jumps in tosses out some big words and says there full of crap.

Now these are all conspiracy theories and I have no proof so take the as they are.

Sadly it's not conspiracy theory, if you check better the *whole panorama* you will see what i meant even in my rant.

New users that registers per day only to express a pro-dongle (im ok with that) opinion or just for the hobby of trolling but the problem when someone is defending something with claws and nails is for a reason = they are insecure. If you know REALLY what your posture toward DRM you can keep it to yourself or go berserk and bash everyone who thinks different.
I can understand double accounts/fake ones and even hide your identity.
But they know that E3 will come with a nice *surprise* and anyone that want to know how business will end (in money terms) have to know how the inside works.

I don't blame them. Honestly.

Someone's post count should not be a deciding factor in whether or not a post should be taken seriously. I think dongles are alright if you want to play newer games and don't mind the price tag. With the lack of updates (excluding recent events) buying a dongle was the only option available to play these games. I'm aware that it went against the idea that it released the method for a price tag instead of releasing it for free for the betterment of the scene. People that just want games for free (I'm one of them) don't care because they still get to play those games. Even when dongles become invalidated it wont be a big deal to them because they got to play X number of games for the price of one months before an option was available. I get the TB hate everywhere has some justification but people need to calm down about it. Just my 2 cents
