Well, if you go that way, then NO game these days is new, everything has been done before and is nothing more than a new incarnation with different graphics.... but who cares.... as long as the game is fun it's not problem.. People want more of the same, because they know it is what they like.

Just tell me what an original game is that has been released the last year (hell or the last 5 years), and with original I mean ORIGINAL not a game that blended 2 different gametypes into one (because that's also something that has been done for decades). It's just impossible to actually show something really original these days, everything has already been done..

I think he/she maybe more upset that Naughty Dog is using the same engine that they used with Uncharted. I say don't fix it if it aint broke.

I like the style that Uncharted is. ND's storytelling methods are great. They do amazing graphics and add a great storyline to it. Not many devs have this kind of combination... Most just have the former.

It's not the same engine, it's an updated engine, with even more enhancements, just like the next Uncharted (of there'll be a PS3 version) will also use a newer version of the same engine they used for The Last of Us.. Just like Unreal Engine 4 is also just an enhanced version of the Unreal Engine 3.
People who ***** about 'oh but they are using the same engine' really don't know jack what they are talking about...
