The update.bin file is NOT updating the flasher.

I get no blue LED lights showing any updating is going on.

I only see blue lights when I turn on the PS3 and all switches are down.

Switches are set as: Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up for the update process.

But I get no blue progress lights.

I cant find a tutorial that addresses my problem, they all just say 'the blue lights should just come on'

All help appreciated!

-CECHL02 80GB FAT Model PS3 VER-001 Motherboard
-Sandisk 8gb Micro SD (card is clear of everything except the .bin file)
-update.bin file is the Samsung update from like 28/20th October (whatever the date was) (the one that allows for 1 flasher used on multiple consoles

you will see the light progess on the indicator from 8x OFF to 8x ON blue led. (once finished all 8 blue leds lights) - this didnt happened.
but it is already solved for me i think, euss says that it is updated because the file on the micro sd is after that missing, i hope he's right
