Well now. Its been two days and Sir Gregory has still been unable to answer the original question I asked - who coded the first PS1 modchip. This along with Malex response to "drama" in the last scene where he could not recall any moderators name goes towards my point.

If people can't remember moderator names from the last scene or even who created the first PS1 modchip which was a really big freaking deal that - no one is going to remember names of moderators here or over there and also forget most of the devs names in 10 years.

If you want to make a name for yourself that others can remember you need to start up your dev tools and make something worthy of remembering as moderating on a forum is like the bottom fish in a tank. No offence; I try to look at things objectively.

The first mod chip was created by a company in China, which was cracked by a dev from the Netherlands, his name may have resembled a crow.

Anyhow, just because you feel your existence is unimportant, doesn't give you the right to sh*t on the rest of us, now does it missus.

I do genuinely thank you though, as you have perked my interest in the dealings of the PS2 scene and it seems the owners of ps2ownz were unscrupulous bastards, charging people to unban them >.< yuk the person in charge of that fiasco seems to be a mod at PS3N3ws.

I remember those Neo guys who made the swap modchip. I think ythey released it free, and the non swap they sold.

Also guichi and lod are moderators from the ps2 scene, i also assume the original staff from psx-scene were also moderators during the PS2 era

You sure about that? I think a lot of them disappeared when ps2hdd became psx-scene, but I'm not 100% sure since I stopped visiting the site as frequently around that time.

You win, there will be no movie based on the crappy ps3 scene, no need to make a court case out of it

Besides, you really shouldn't be using me as the standard for name recollection and such. Just about the only names that are safe are my parents and siblings, any other names I can (not on purpose) forget. First girlfriend, close friends, teachers, first guy I fought, childhood neighboors, etc.

Anyone can find those answers on Google, but recalling them by memory is something that didn't happen when I asked. When asking the questions I should of thought "they could just goggle it". Oh well.

ps2ownz turned into ps2nfo turned into ps3scene. All of them are were/are run by the same person, he's constantly changing nicknames too. You picked the right one.

Most of psx-scene.com's original staff are gone including it's owner; however some do remain.

You are right people's names used to be hard to remember, but in this age of the internet being used the way it never was back in the PS1/2 days, it is far harder to forget someone.
Finally you can recall moderators names, so doesn't that make your point moot to begin with.
