Green OFF Blue ON

Hello everyone,

My PS3 is now bricked after the following happened:

I had Rogero CFW but it was laggy, so I decided to replace it with KMEAW. I installed OFW 3.55 but after finishing the install, my PS3 turned itself off!!!

When I start nowadays, I get Green light On with the blue light flashing once and after 3s, the green light turns off BUT the blue light stays on for an extra 2s. Then the whole system shuts off.

I have attempted the following things:
1. Replace the power supply and
2. Replace the power switch

Does anyone have any idea of what can be attempted next?

Thanks guy...

JSD-001 for the motherboard and the SKU version is 2000B.

Do you know what can be done to fix it?

Another brick from not dehashing after downgrade.

To fix you need a flasher. You will not be able to get to recovery menu. You will not be able to enter factory service mode.

If you were the one that downgraded, install your flasher and flash your backup of while you were on Rogero. Then do dehashing.

If you were not the one who downgraded, hope the guy you paid to do it saved your backup. Have it fix it, and complain to him for not finishing the downgrade process, by dehashing the syscon checks.

Thanks for all the help. The ps3 is restored after going back to the original firmware!!! I am on rogero CFW v3.1.

However, I noticed that the ps3 is running slow as compared to OFW. It takes a while to load games and even while in games, it loads slower than the same game on disk! Is this normal?
And I checked my HDD and there are no bad sectors and its not failling!

Now that you have restored your PS3 to Rogero v3.1, you should dehash the syscon checks.

You can do this by following the guide below, starting from the spoiler "Qa flag".

After that you will be able to install any CFW you want. I don't know if it will help your problem, but it is worth a shot. Not to mention it will prevent you from bricking it again.
