lol your memory should be incredibly fuzzy regarding the Snes, you weren't even born when it was released.

The team behind this cd boot is what is interesting to know. And can give an idea when the actual drm dongles will be public.

Bought a Commodore Amiga CD32 today, worlds first 32 bit console..... I come home and see this thread.... nice

Bought an Commodore Amiga A1000 also from the same guy..... First Amiga ever made.... So glad I could get that one because I was looking for it for a very long time...

Have to connect the CD32 to my TV but that will be tomorrow.. If I can write about it that would be nice Greg

not even that. take out the cmos battery > wait til orig disc stops spinning > swap disc > enter time/date > win

i remember modding my first console to make it play cheaper imports.
all you needed was a sega megadrive/genesis, a file to open out the cartridge slot and an import game

Haha yes - I remember that when I was experimenting with non-selfbooting images on Chankast/nullDC.

yes this one

But there are a few other ones as well and in the end all
games where selfboot on the net

yeah i mean my case

Here is a link on instructables of someone else,
http://www.instructables.com/id/Sega-Dreamcast-VGA-Mod/

Dc Hacking Not me; but I just got in to the hole you can change this and this thing and presto you have something new!
Like the crazy audio layer you needed to burn to get homebrew (games running) but I loved the snes emu the divx player etc.

I think (correct me if i am wrong) its the first system getting a big
homebrew scene....

like from www.boob.co.uk
DC Tonic Released: 19-May-2001 (at E3)
By: Various (Cryptic Allusion, Ganksoft, Moving Target Software Design, AndrewK/Napalm)

Info: This hobbyist demo disc was put together and distributed at E3 2001. It includes several game demos, a remake of Dan Potter’s Ghetto Pong, a new “Napalm-enchanced” version of AndrewK’s Burritro demo, KallistiOS v1.0.0, as well as sourcecode to almost everything. The ca_dc_tonic.zip file is a copy of the original release from Dan Potter. It requires knowledge of making a selfboot disc (after converting the included MP3s to WAVs to burn first).

or Linux on your Dreamcast
http://linuxdc.sourceforge.net/

and still now the Dc scene rolls out homebrew its a shame i don't follow it anymore..
