![]() I was right into Amiga around 1996, I've owned: 1 A1000, about 6 A500s, 5 or 6 A1200s, 3 A4000s, and my favorite ever, an A3000T (tower, manufactured by CBM.) And countless addonOh, and a CDTV that I recently sold on ebay. The fun thing was, I acquired almost all of these machines in thrift stores for ~20 bucks each. Played around with a few, flipped a few on ebay for mega profit, destroyed a few by hacking. I don't know if I'd say the Amiga had the greatest scene ever, but it was up there. Although it's pretty quiet now, there's still a few diehards. I still have an A1200, but I honestly haven't turned it on in ages. I gave up trying to find an accelerator for it because they are *retarded* expensive.

Nope, the A1000 was the first one, they even just called it "the Amiga from Commodore" in the beginning...

I still have my old Sega CDX (which still works). I bought it new in 1994 for $400 and it was a combination Sega Genesis (Megadrive) and Sega CD (Mega CD) in a portable CD player. Still have the Sega 32X, a backup RAM cartridge and original Sewer Shark CD for it as well.

I still have mine too.
![]() CDX works with the 32x? Edit: A good cost-benefit is the MD Play (Sega Gopher in Europe). It is based on firecore, the sound is not perfect, has no internal battery (no RPGs...) but has a fantastic autonomy. Comes with SD card reader (the romset fits in a 1 gig card) and it's cheap! ![]() I'm using it more than the ps3... Last edited by LoboGuara; 06-20-2012 at 03:30 PM. |

The PS1 was originally supposed to be some sort of disc attachment to a Nintendo console. Nintendo ditched Sony and went with Panasonic instead. PSX was a PS2 media center basicially. It plays ps2 games and had an internal hard drive that stored media.
Oh yeah don't forget the intellivision lol, I had one. Virtualboy was supposed to be the first 3d console, you wore it on your head and it produce games in red on black iirc. Correction: they went with Phillips.
