Wrong. Retroarch has many optimizations, the shaders work better, and games that gave me problems before now run perfectly (ie. some FBA emulated games). I am not fan of aglomerated emulators , but it is impossible to ignore all changes made in Retroarch upon the old emulators. Your comment is unfair and ungrateful.

Someone posted this on IRC, these are recent accomplishments, they are not a year old and are far superior to your non existent emulators

Showtime was first released WAY before 3.55 CFW even existed. So really, all we're seeing is bugfixes there. The only thing it does differently than the already existing PS3 MEdia player is play one format - MKV, and even then it isn't always successful depending on the encoding of the file itself. Some peopel like it, some people couldn't care less about it. But either way, it's not anything NEW.

As for Retroarch - like I said, nice idea. Square's work has always been aces. But it's really just a new front end for a bunch of emulators that were already released well over a year ago. Sure, Square has tweaked a few things and corrected a few bugs, but it's not like there's any new systems in there.

Pointing out the actual facts isn't "denigration". I don't have a problem with their work. I'm just tired of fakers post a rar file full of useless junk they can't figure out on mediafire, and claiming it as a "release" when it's not.

^^ You are not you pointing facts, you are searching for (and creating) problems and defects. You should be grateful that we have people who still works on free software for the ps3, even if not the software you want.
