Help True Blue Damaged My HDD
I bought true blue i updated to v 2.7 then i checked its fake or not but it was not a clone showing. then i was starting to play it erased my hdd..........

We know for a long time TB has added suicide code to "their" FW to erase HDD's.... why didn't you make a backup before using the "famous" True Bull... ehhh... Blue dongle

Are you sure it's not a clone? Only way to know is to open the case and check it's pcb.
It's funny though, every other dongle produced verification codes which you could check on their website to make sure it was theirs. Considering that TB have gone so far to the point of adding suicide code which will erase your hdd, you would think that they would have included this verification feature to theirs. The fact is that they should have done it from the beginning, a lesson they should have learned from previous dongle cloners. The fact that they have not just goes to show that they do not care about their customers getting a fake. Sure they released a photo for you to check, buts that's only after you had already bought a clone.

If you dont put anything else on the hdd. You could recover data. As ps3 doesn't actually erases everything. It put "zeros" over data so it fools the ps3 into thinking it is Free space and the ps3 can write to that section of HDD. Because for TB to do a FULL FORMAT, it would take a lot longer. And you would notice.
