if your issue is lost jobs from illegal immigrants, than your problem should be with the company, farms or who ever is employing them.

as for educating the children, everyone should have the right to be educated.

You are the one being an ass and as far as keeping my jokes to myself (note myself is one word, much in the same way that yourself is one word. lol) its clear that I will have to tag my jokes from this point forward so some of the less intelligent members can identify them for what they are.

60 seconds * 60 minutes * 24 hours * 365 days = 31,536,000 seconds in a year
299,792,458 miles * 31,536,000 seconds= 9,454,254,955,488,000 miles = Light Year.... ok so far
Now the Universe is estimated to be 14.7 Billion light years long/old, so
9,454,254,955,488,000 miles * 14,700,000,000 years = 138,977,547,845,673,600,000,000,000 miles in all directions. Ok the Universe is THAT (whatever that number would be called) big, billions upon billions of galaxies, with trillions upon trillions of stars... I think it's the height of arrogance to think we are the only ones around.


Can't say I believe in visitations though, not saying they haven't happened, but I am not willing to bet my left testicle that it has happened.

Don't forget to take into account the multiverse theory (even with level 1 or level 2 of the multiverse theory, it seems almost impossible that we are the only ones).

True, true.... who would have thought that something that had been talked about in science fiction for so long could actually turn out to be true. I mean it's one thing when science fiction inspires inventions, but to have actually guessed something so fundamental (if the theories end up being fact), it's incredible.

Of course there is going to be intelligent life out there, to think there isnt is just absurd.

Currently the estimated age of this universe is 13.4 billion years.
The oldest rock can be dated back 4 billion years. But note this ia rock, the Earth was very volcanic when it was first formed. So you have to add the formation of the Earth as well, but lets ignore that.

The first element in teh universe would be obviously Hydrogen, maybe some Helium and possible a few lighter elements. The only way to get heavier elements would via supernovae. Of course the first stars very supermassive stars, they would have had a short lifetime compared to our Sun, but still it would probably take a few novae to get to the heavy elements like Uranium.

When you take all this into consideration you actually come to conclude that we, life on this planet, are what some sci-fi fans would call the first ones. We are most likely a small group of the first intelligent species in the universe.
Of course also seeing how fast we have evolved technologically in the last 100 years, could mean there are alien who are already travelling the stars.

But have aliens visited earth? My guess most likely not, as there are only 1 of two things which could happen.

1) They are peaceful, and like in Star Trek's first directive, will not interfere with a less evolved planet.
2) They are expanding their reach, their civilization needs more resources and we are next on their list.

Why would aliens visit the Earth when even the "smart" people on the planet would want to dissect you instead of asking for a copy of your medical history. Imagine if you were allergic to a drug, you have a medical bracelet which says you are allergic to that drug among other things; you end up in a thrid world hosptial where they dont use the bracelets, the doctor is about to give you the drug, whilst you're trying to wave your bracelet at them. They strap you down and inject you.

So yeah why would you even bother visiting Earth.
