I haven't read through this thread, only the topic, but to think there isn't other intelligent in the universe is a bit ridiculous. There are so many star systems, and I have a hard time believing we are the only planet, with all of the right factors, to sustain life. I believe there other human like creatures (humanoids) some where in the universe as well.
If you don't want to believe there is other intelligent out there now, that may also be true. Just think though, all it takes is a single celled organism to evolve over the course of time into another form of life. This life can evolve like we did into a intelligent race that will establish their own form of civilization. This is going to sound crazy because it is my own theory that I haven't done any research on, but I actually see dolphins becoming an evolved race after the human race is extinct. They are very smart creatures now. They make toys for themselves, and are the only other species that we can prove give each other names.

It just looks like a barren waste land out there to me. Thousands of years of looking and searching and we have no proof outside of a few conspiracy theories. The government has even abandoned spending trillions because they know there isn't anything out there. There is either a God or earth is a colossal accident. I find it hard to believe that man climbed out of water as a jellyfish-like form and needed food to sustain life that just happened to conveniently be growing and living right in front of him. Oxygen was also highly convenient. There would have been no natural instincts at this point so I'm going to add clothing and fire to that list. I find it harder to believe that the same thing has occurred on other planets. I think it takes more faith to believe this than it does to find spirituality.

In science someone comes up with an idea or theory and shares it with others to see what they're perspective is on it. Those people can either agree or disagree, in some or all of the details. Both parties agree or agree to disagree until one of then provides proof of their ideas. But in religion, starts off the same way but instead of sharing it is forced onto others, they are forced to agree and if they dont they are persecuted even killed. Even when evidence is provided prove they are wrong, they deny it or destroy the evidence or kill the person who found it. But back to your point, no one believed anything could live in the deepest parts of the ocean, or even near volcanic ocean trenches; they too believed them to be barren wastelands. But it wasnt until we were able to build submarines which could go down further that we saw they were wrong, in fact it was brimming with living organisms. People believed the Earth was flat until someone sailed around it They thought the Earth was only a few thousand years old, then 30 million, then 100 million, and now 4.5 billion years old. They thought dinosaurs were a prank and fake as it meant there were living animals before there were humans implying god did not make man first. But then fossils started appearing everywhere. Like I said, if we are the first group of intelligent beings in the universe, it'll be really hard trying to find someone else out there. But just because we havent found them, doesnt mean they arent there, somewhere.

I would have to say that yes I do think that there are other living beings out there. It is just Statistics, I mean in the milky way galaxy we have billions of stars and each one of those stars are a sun and have planets that orbit them. And there are billions of galaxies out there and the same in those as well. So out of all those numbers there is one planet that the conditions are just perfect on one of those planets, I think not. It is to bad that the distance in space is so vast that we as humans will have a hard time exploring it. In order to see it all we would have to find a way to get close to the speed of light and well e=mc2 is a pain in the butt. So in close are there other living things out there, yes. Will the public ever know, maybe. Has some living thing ever came to earth other then humans, yes.

I understand there always has been and always will be things outside of man's grasp of understanding. I believe that's what sets me apart in this aspect. I believe in both science and god. I'm both pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli. I'm conservative on some issues and liberal on others. I look at everything subjectively. I understand how carbon dating works but have my doubts about it's million year accuracy seeing as nobody has been around a million years to prove it. It's just another one of those arguments that can never be proven. If the civilized world came to an end today in some kind of calamity and was reborn later on, archaeologists would excavate the statue of liberty and think it was an ancient God. They would think all the tourists who took vacations to see it were religious zealots making a pilgrimage to said God. I love watching Ancient Aliens because I find it fascinating. I also find it hilarious. Archaeology is my major. Lol...they make EVERYTHING appear as if aliens are responsible for it. Realistically speaking from an archaeological standpoint, there is more proof that Greek gods and goddesses existed than aliens. Unless you want to believe that a ceremonious snake mound is an alien landing strip. I need something more tangible than an imagination and some conspiracy theories to go off of. P.S. I still believe the earth is flat

How do you think we got here. We have evolved from apes?
The souls that built the pyramids are our real ancestors. Think about it. You will know when they return.

The computer that you use everyday for your information is taking away jobs from authors who would otherwise sell the information in books. The video games you play is driving board game manufacturers out of business. You are taking away jobs too. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
