Hi Everybody,

This is my first post on this forum.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me out with this as it really is bugging me.

Basically, I've custom firmware and official update, ftp etc. and now I have transferred a game from PC to PS3 via FTP. It is located in dev_hdd/something/.... and it shows up correctly in MultiMan.

Now when I click play/load, it kicks me back into the main play station screen. I don't have a disc in there and so nothing shows, however I have been told that it should work even without a disc as long as I use BDEMU....

So now I really don't know what to do...Any help is much appreciated.

By the way the game is Fifa Street. And the files aren't PKG but loads of different files.

After it kicks out to xmb, choose the game from app/home. It is above install package files in the game column. If it doesn't work from there you may need a disc in the drive, and select the game from the disc.

is it possable to downgrade a ps3 without a E3 flasher or any of them other things. i have a jailbreak-able ps3 but i am wondering if i could downgrade from 4.11 to 3.55 with a usb?. and btw the dowload for the very first step is broken my playstation says that it is corrupted idk what to do plzz help

You need a hardware flasher to downgrade from 4.11. You would know if you search and read the million users that have asked the same question you did.

For the Rebug, Would I install "Rebug Update Package 0.7 (3.55.2)" (The one with PSN access), or would I need to find the original 3.55.2 update and them update from there?

Clicking the recommended file gets you a file with URLs that are 404ing

i installed an update last night so my ps is on 4.11 Demo Mode. i know the code but do i need a E3 flasher to downgrade it to jailbreak it? i can't install any Install Package Files on my xmb settings menu cuz its corrupt...pls help??

Yes, you'll need to downgrade with a hardware flasher.

Find out if your PS3 has a NAND or NOR chip

NAND = Progskeet (hardware flasher ~ you will have to solder.)
NOR = E3 Flasher (hardware flasher = solderless)

There are folks in the forums that offer downgrading service...search around.

If your PS3 is not already on 3.55 or below, you can't utilize this guide.

If above 3.55, you will need a hardware flasher to downgrade to 3.55 in order to use this guide.

They explicitly state on their site not to hotlink their files, c'mon, show some respect.

A couple of quick questions, there's two spoofer files: 4.11_Version_Spoofer_2.2_355.pkg and 4.11_Version_Spoofer_2.2_355.geohot.pkg. What's the difference between the two, and does it matter which one I get if I follow this tut? Also, after installing the kmeaw cf I do see the "Install package" and the /app_home/PS3_GAME/ icons, however when I check the version it just says 3.55. Shouldn't it say 3.55 kmeaw? Did I do something wrong?
