It's commonly known (and proven through studies) that interest in a pirated game is much less as when you bought the product.

Hmm.. if the chronus supports wireless DS3 then it means it also has bluetooth onboard.. connecting the 360 controller wireless would be great.. But even if it's only wired it's still a great product, and especially if you can reprogram the buttons through the PC.. I still think it sucks that so few games on the console let you setup your own button-scheme, even on UnrealEngine based games, where it's no extra work to incorporate it. A lot of times I really don't like the default scheme's and why should I conform to those scheme's instead of letting the game conform to MY scheme..

You have free solution open source (with xbox controller as well, wii mote , keyboard...) but you ll need to spend 10mn instead of plug and play 70 $ into your ps3.

Keyboard are already supported natively by the PS3 and one game or more (e.g.: unreal tournament III) support it in game, and i believe someone with talent, time and no financial interest can do something around on PS3.

Its not the same, that does not let you use Wii/360 control pads natively on the PS3 XMB, it does not allow you to use 360 control pads on Wii, or move control pads on 360.

EDIT
After watching a few videos i think i am wrong...

There are a lot of similarities, i hope the device isn't using the same software as GIMX, that would be lame.

do you have no clue how gimx works?!?!!
gimx is just for usage on a PC to be able to use input devices that are connected to the pc on a ps3
to work correctly gimx requires a PS3 PAD because it DOES NOT DO THE SYNCHING!!!

This Crouns thingy is a Bluetooth proxy, i think the old name Gamepad Proxy fits more.
+lol at stealing code, gimx is linux only requires an rt kernel, ....

Well, if it fails it wouldnt be worth purchasing, but there are a number of reasons why a company might lower their price other than failing and if they did that it might be worth consideration.

Sorry, you obviously mean to fail as a marketable product and not fail as in equipment that does not function correctly. Yes, I do hope it fails then so the price will plummet.
