use what @DEFAULTDNB gave u so u can see how low your ps3 can go on fw, if it says 3.55 or under then u can downgrade with one of the links above . if its say 3.56 and over then u cant downgrade to 3.55

The fact that it is 2.70-2.76 is fine. It means you CAN downgrade back to 3.55 with hardware.

@dannydet I meant actually playing ps3 games. If I wanted to play a ROM I'd just get it all on my computer

I'm not talking about ROMs, I know what they are.
You want to play PS3 iso's or, PS3 games, right?
Download ANY PS3 game, and it comes across (after extracting) as folders, technically, with the game files in them. Example: Madden 2012 = a folder called SCUS1134.....
In this folder are the different game files that make up what is a PS3 iso.
Your multiman will play that as if its a genuine PS3 disc /iso, only reading the data from your internal / external drive.
