Any help with MGS 4 Act 4 problem?
Hi.
Today I got a problem playing Metal Gear Solid 4. Guess where? The damn act 4!!! I looked for solutions and it seems to work on Kmeaw and installing the gamedata in patched mode using Open and Gaia managers. Problem is that I'm on True Blue v2 CFW and it's a pain in the *** to make the whole process of changing CFW and Open manager don't work with True Blue (it's says "unsupported payload" when trying to start a game). Does anybody have a solution for this? My game is BLES |

I dont understand the fuss... All that was needed for me, was to copy it (copy it from my own BR, so it's euroversion, I can say that for sure if it matters) to harddisk, and then resetting permissions, which can be done with multiman :/ The game itself was playing with multiman too.
It's perhaps a stupid question, but have you tried resetting permissions? I assume act 4, is the one where it uses a PS1 emulator

I'm on the latest version, all games work fine. This is the old act 4 problem, but the fixes used earlier doesn't work with me as i'm on TB2 CFW.

If you have the original disc ,then start the ps3 without the dongle , and try the game ...
If that doesnt work then just swich to 3.55 OFW and finish the game...(via original disc) after that swich back to TB cfwv2.. Last edited by hawkY1337; 06-28-2012 at 06:37 AM. |
