Hello,

First of all, my apologies for being such a noob (and ofcourse for my bad english, it is not my native language).
But.., i would love to dualboot my ps3-system, to play backups and go on psn (with my original games).
Im now at 4.20.
Is there any hardware out there who can fit these requirements like e3 or true-blue?

You would require a hardware flasher for one, and that's not even a definite as you have not stated the type/ model of you ps3. If your compatible, you would then need a tb to play SOME new games. Online is a no for now, although some still can get on but don't count on it lasting.
Edit just seen dual boot, you would need another hard drive and that e3 device as well

Well its a slim model, only my original games do need to get access to psn.
I have another harddrive in my closet so that is not a problem.
But is it possible to dualboot with e3 or tb if i am on 4.20?

E3 flasher is needed for dualboot and downgrade to 3.55. Trueblue won't dualboot your PS3 or downgrade it, it will only play newer games (3.56+) once your on 3.55.

depends on how low you can flash youre firmware: check with minversioncheck (best source for stuff like this is: http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page
there yoyu also will find more information about flashing and downgrading... newest slim modell chech 3000 cannot be jailbreaked, was this unit jailbreaked before?
seems to me you doesnt read enough, so you cant provide information to youre question for someone to answer it...

I searched the internet (failed.. dohh), but whats the diffrence between the E3 Card Reader and the E3 Flasher except the price =)?

Forgot to mention that your PS3 may not be downgradeable. You will need to check the model number on the back of your PS3 (starts with CECH) then check your lowest firmware buy using a fake update file. Here is link to our MinVerChk program - http://www.demonhades.org/foro/download/file.php?id=332

Here is the simple steps you need to follow to use the Min Version Checker:

1 - Copy the MinVerChk to your USB stick, the same way as if it was an firmware upgrade.
2 - Insert the USB stick into the PS3.
3 - Start a firmware update like normal from XMB (Don't worry, it will not update!)
4 - It will shortly fail and display the Firmware Base Value


Since you are on 4.20 and want to downgrade to 3.55 you will need both to do the downgrade process. If you have a PSP, or rooted android phone then you can use that instead of the E3 card reader.
