Got E3 flasher, and 5 PS3 dumps.

Now I totally killed my PS3, both flashes had working dual boot.

Now I PROLLY don't have bios backup of 4.11, but I do of 3.55 (sure) and 3.70 but don't ask me which dump is what.

Seeming I succesfully made dual boot, I might aswell assume that the dumps are correct.

Here are 5 dumps, aprox 30Mb.

How do I patch them correctly ?
And do I need to reverse them if they are patched, or before patch ?
Also which ones are good is someone could check perhaps ?

dump1 + dump5 useless / bad dumped! without content!
dump2+dump3+dump3 ros0 411 + ros1 411
dump2 use for bkpps3.patch.bin ros0 355 + ros1 355 ready for downgrade and use on micro-sd-card(rename it to bkpps3.bin) !


your ps3 part of serial xx-27439222-xxxxxxxx so you can check if its same on ps3!

do it your self and use flowrebuilder to extract you xxx.bin, then you will see the sdk_version inside folders ros0 + ros1(last installed firmware)

So simple reflashing the second dump should boot my PS3 again?
What is the stuff about 'patching' it before flashing ? (patched dump)

second are OFW411, so yes (you must reinstall OFW and use the HDD OFW411)
if you use the patch I post on top, you can downgrade and use again dualboot

Sorry to bother you again.

But I am a little confused.

1) Do I need to restore 4.11 dump (second orginal dump, UNPATCHED)
Or 4.11 dump UNPATCHED but reversed ?

2) Can I downgrade directly with pre made PATCHED dump and afterwards clone and upgrade ?

Currently I don't seem to get in downgrade mode, as PS3 turns itselfs of after trying service mode with PATCHED dump. But it doesn't read of my downgrading USB like it supposed to do.

What part am I going wrong ?

I readed, and I tried.

I can't seem to get in downgrade mode.
And if I do (automatic turnoff) with my desire phone in recovery mode, it does turn off. But it doesn't beep and if I recall correctly when putting ps3 in service mode does beep turnoff, and not turnoff.

Also it doesnt automatic install with my, previous working AND unchanged since, usb with .self file and PS3UPDAT.pup.

It won't beep. After the downgrade dongle receives and sends the code, the ps3 just shuts off. Then put the USB flash drive, formatted to fat32, with the lv2diag.self and the PS3UPDAT.PUP on the root, into the right most USB slot. Then turn the PS3 on and wait about 4 min. until the ps3 shuts off again.
