I know what platinum is aiming to, but the funny thing is they are working with the ones who make boring games...
Each different game has a nice *touch* of the people involved on they creation.
Like AS franchise..people all over the world even Asians.

But from studio like Platinum if you can name more than 10 games done by them that are not mediocre fine, but most of them sucks big time.

I happen to think most western games are about as interesting as watching paint dry. That said, I can't defend dating-sims and some other weird genres they've got in japan, but japanese rpgs and aventure games are awesome.... well not counting newer jrpgs which are just plain terrible.

This Platinum guy just sounds like a reverse weeaboo. Japanese games today don't suck, ALL games today suck. FF13-2, ME3, whatever.

Well after all they have to feed their families, so even with a mediocre product on the market or same of the old ****...
It's a matter of tastes.
Personally don't like platinum and doing this kind of statement makes me want to punch 'em in the face.
