Ok guys i have a 3.55 cfw (rogero) and i have a spare 2.5inch hdd, i want to put 3.0 firmware on it to get rid of that cinivia ( just to be used for watching movies)

How do i go about doing it?

Ok so just follow the guide but using the 3.0 right?
Also another question when i swap hard drives would the ps3 boot properly ? i have a slim 2001a , so my main drive is the 3.55 cfw and the other drive is the 3.0ofw, So again just switch off place in desired hdd and boot ?

Yup i already have that installed, problem is i have copies of my blu ray movies, not rips, that patch is not for avchd or Blu ray. so i want a firmware without the cinivia entirely

EDIT: or is there a way to boot the firmware from a usb flash drive that would be great :D lol
