I have done everything you said, and it went perfect, Thank you!!! I'm currently on Kmeaw 3.55 and no issues!!! Just one little question, if I have QA installed, would I be able to downgrade to any firmware just by going to the recovery menu??? obviously the FW needs to be higher than what my ps3 came with new.

Yes. As long as you have QA toggled on. Check by doing the button combo while highlighted on network settings. If you have the extra menu, then Qa flag is on.

Weird thing just happened to my console. I reformat (FAT32) PS3 hdd on PC and want to install Kmeaw 3.55 PUP. Before the firmware update installation, PS3 format the HDD. On firmware installation screen it shows 3.56 update. Im pretty sure the actual PUP is Kmeaw. I download new PUP from PS3devwiki, and again it show 3.56 update. I update it and now PS3 is on 3.56 ( last time I downgrade this console from 3.56). So, can I just flash 3.55 dump? Or I need to do again the downgrade process?

That is strange. Did you have a disc in the drive?

You can just flash your 3.55 backup with your flasher. No need to do the downgrade again, if you have your backup from 3.55.

Yes its Dragon Age II . I think its 3.56 games. So 3.56 update is from the disc?

I believe with QA flag toggled on, it will look at the disc first for the pup file.
