They are coming in waves, you quoted (happens) an spambot (happened to me) you will notice when you quote that's a broken image link. That's a spambot.

Not sure I follow the broken image link part of your comment, but I will try and be more savvy in the future. I was going to say strive to be less noob, but I have been doing this far too long to be a noob...........Im just ignorant is all. lol

sall good @donglehater , they are easy to identify.

they usually use names and numbers for their nickname like this: john3554, or anne6678 generally its noticeble cause they use names not nicknames.
then they post stuff like ok, or good, or something like that, with no real contribution to the thread, some now are doing the following they grab someone's post on for instance page 3 and post the same on page 12, complete carbon copy of what the original poster (non spambot posted), they are easy to spot, you will get used to spot them

What exactly is their purpose? I assume based on their name that they spam something eventually? And, how did they come to be? Is someone on this site controlling them? Guess Im too old to understand AI.

Thanks for that.........very interesting read. Im curious since I frequent many other sites and have never experienced this before, Is this something that mostly affects VBPortal boards based on the security type?
