Hey I have no problem with people voicing their opinion. Opinions are great. My problem is when someone voices an opinion and tries to make it appear as a fact. And then, what's especially bad, is that the "Supermoderator" status makes it look even more credible, so that opinion becomes taken as truth for the rest of the community to blindly believe.

Besides, if we're talking about the right to voice an opinion here, let's not forget that @GregoryRasputin has over 10,000 posts. Ten thousand. That's almost twice as many as the next highest poster, and more than ALL of the average joe's (like me) posts combined. If ANYONE has voiced their opinion on this site, it's Greg.

I respect his opinion, I really do, but it is just an opinion. Like mine.

If you are going for the postcount, it's plain wrong Benzonia. Even with the status, I have not the postcount of greg's or Jap or even Annelies and im still the same user that registered on 2011. If you remove me from this s-mod and mod stats i can voice my opinion and maybe have the same impact as a s-mod, mod or anyone in here as well as you or anyone that's who wants to say something about anything.

In this kind of situations, you have 2 options: 1) you can go for the easy way out. Not engage in a discussion that you will lose and not fully understand or 2) face it and face the consecuences as well if your argument has some serious flaws in it.
I never saw any MOD here abusing from their powers just for shutdown a voice (opinion) that he don't wants to read (hear).
If it that were the case half of the board ends perma-banned with no reason given and you as me don't saw and see that happen.

Long story short:
That's when the drama kicks in, because if you HAVE a problem with ME, you will face me no matter if im a pawn or the admin of the site. (and i don't see that kind of attitude often), you can explain your discomfort towards certain *situation* with good *vibe* and get nice results.
In Deank's case, it's totally useless. Since he BEGS with his own actions to be banned. Indeed he ended banned by me twice because he was trolling and believe me it's was not COOL at all doing that.

On devs side:
Go talk to crasherious or another devs and you will notice the level of maturity they have, then go talk to the *new ones* and you will find a concrete wall.
Having or not s-mod status, mod status or just an user status. (it's relative)
Also It's a myth that we *spook devs out of the boards*, if you know how to backup what you saying EVEN if you are plain wrong and you know how to defend yourself = perfect and prove that you you have many valid point = excellent (Talking about being a board...)
If not..well avoid any kind of confrontation.
