The main problem to obtain the keys is because of this, let me quote "PS3 Dev Wiki" ( http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Keys )...

Note: When private key is unknown: use scekrit (pre 3.56 only, since they fixed the randomfail in 3.56+ after the fail0verflow presentation at 27C3).

By "they", it is referring to "Sony".

So until that part of the equation is solved (the randomfail fix), obtaining the keys will be very problematic.

Lol any noob that has been around will know about the .tiff exploits, lol psp, Good try though. .tiff wouldn't work because the HV doesn't let it (The PS3) crash. I know a lot I spent alot of my spare time reading the PS3 Dev wiki, and psp hacking forums/Wiki, I've been around Scene about 2009 But I liked PS3-Hacks Before it changed. :P So please try again. Put the UPDATE.pup in a folder called UPDATE that is in a folder called PS3: Like this

Yes I know they where used on PS3 I never said they where, All I said was that they where used on PSP before. I'm not being arrogant here, Your the one who started this with your S**t.

so what is this firmware for is a cfw or does this help you downgrade your system. please explain what this firmware is for and about. i downloaded it but im waiting to install till i know exactly what its for? i read something about it downgrading systems to any firmware but it was bricking. then i read it was a cfw. can someone please fill me in?

As it stands now, it's just a MFW with "Install Packages" on your XMB. Nothing more.
Without peek & poke...no homebrew can be installed. (eg. mmCM, Paintown, blackboxFTP.)

Its a "MFW" it has the ability to add install pkg files onto the XMB (but it doesn't work) and just look at the DESC on the video.

i have e3 flasher so im not worried about going back to 3.55 because i love playing my cod online to much to go back but is this mfw worth putting on or should i wait for E3's 4.20 cfw?

Also does this make the ps3 any faster like some are saying?
Also even if it allows you to install pkg's what good is it if you cant homebrew?

I guess what im saying is whats the point of this because its not a jailbreak right?
