No dongle found: load OFW 4.xx Dongle found: load CFW 4.xx (maybe loading CFW from dongle? don't know how this stuff works) If its like this, then yes you need the dongle but wouldn't need an patched eboot But who knows, lets wait and see... it's too early to speculate like this... all we got was some gibberish English, we don't know jack sh!t

The E3 dongle is in my PS3. I have their cfw running. = security measure #1 why would I need a game patch = security measure #2 just speculation an conversation yet again though ! |

very true the firmware can be coded to only work with their dongle and if not they can turn off specific functions. so therefore the ps3 would be game play useless all around. basically there way around it is you shouldn't have there custom firmware on your ps3 unless you purchased their dongle.

E3 team, *source* confirmed they are working in a project to port 360 games with a dongle to PS3.

 I've seen PS3 themes for 360 in the past but how the .... do they want to port 360 games to PS3.

I'm playing Gears of War 3 on my E3 CFW 4.21. It´s awesome how RSX can play 360 games!
P.S- I WILL NEVER OWN A DONGLE, EVEN IF IT MEANS PS4 GRAPHICS IN PS3 |
