Well there is the 3K series and the rumoured 4K series, those guys cant downgrade, so it would be nice for them to have a chance to run CFW.

None, but the amount of idiots that was saying i used an 360 was annoying, its just a game that has a .bink video at boot up, i changed it for some Halo Game play.

Maybe they do have cfw above 3.55 but in order to use you must use there dongle.

A disc yes but that wouldn't work for running backups on a external hard drive.

[General Plot]

It's crap like this that have made me walk away from the PS3 scene. Corporate mongers trying to fatten their pockets with DRM riddled dongles. I got tired of waiting for things to change (as they don't seem like they ever will), so I got a 360 and RGH'd it. I plan to keep my PS3, but it's now on 4.20. The lack of homebrew that doesn't make some exploiter rich off piracy completely killed the image for me. I love my PS3, and I still prefer gaming on it over the 360 (having both machines means nobody can accuse me of being a fanboi), but the homebrew community on the 360 is just way more appealing. I'll still follow PS3 hacking news, but as a spectator unless things change (which given the history, they probably won't). JBK, TB, TP for my bunghole (a wiseman once said).

Well you can be sure that if one of these teams does manage to hack ofw 4.21 then most likely a lot of hackers will turn they eyes onto it.

Question is if they do hack it will they release it for free or sell on the info or lie in bed with another dongle maker?

One thing is for sure, they havent learned from the original psjailbreak team. Tehy charged $100 on didnt sell much, but when cloners were selling for $30ish they sold thousands.
We know Tb is way overpriced and they cold sell it for a lot less. But then we also know the dongle itself is useless as it just drm stuff, all the cfw does is check to see if teh dongle is there.
