guys, if this new slim console is a top loader think about it, the ps2 slim uses a swap magic disc and sensors in the disc tray to play region free games.... you would have thought sony have learned from this mistake and it's the reason why sony chose to use the slot loading for the ps3, i am curious as to why they have gone back to top loading?

don't think they took out the top loader because of swap magic.. it just is way more high class looking and feeling, and they are prob going back because it is cheaper and they will make more money from selling units

I made a joke about this awhile back saying they would put out another ps3 version and call it the ps3 slim slim.

so if it's a top-loading console what would you say the probability of it being an exploitable console with something like swap-majic? Just curious.
