Genesis Plus GX supports Mega CD/Sega CD now - no 32X yet.

I'll be porting the latest version over to PS3 shortly.

It will not be standalone - it will only run in RetroArch.

Thanks Squarepusher! You were just the guy I was trying to get a hold of on the subject... haven't talked to ya in a while. Will I need a bios file and such?

Mind if I add you on twitter or whatever so I can keep up with your updates and such? Gets to be pretty cluttered here.

Sure - there's also an IRC channel on freenode where I hang out - #retroarch.

Ok i dont know if im retarded or what square but i cant load anything in retroarch... The only way i can switch cores is by setting them to the default and when i try to open a rom it just tells me it extracted it to the cache which doesnt really help me... When i have them extracted on the drive retroarch doesnt pick up the *.iso extension what to do?

Extracted to the cache partition means it has been extracted to /dev_hdd1. Keep in mind that everything that is extracted to this partition (it's about 2GB in disk size) will be flushed when you exit RetroArch - ie. contents will be deleted.

This is currently a problem with zipped ROMs - because your savegame files are also put there on the cache partition.

For the next release there will be a better way of dealing with this where it will save the savegame files to the 'Savegame file directory' on your HDD or whatever you changed it to. Also, I will put in an option in the next release so that you can choose 'NOT' to flush this cache partition when RetroArch ends- meaning it will stay on there until your PS3 is turned off.

Also, I don't know why you would want to load *.iso files right now - there is currently no core that loads such files - even Mednafen PCE only reads 'cue' files, not ISO.

I was wrong about that, they are in .cue and .bin but yeah it still won't pick them up. Mednafen does however I just found out.
