Rebug wasnt a true DEX console and not everything worked.

Keep cfw on the PS3 and install DEX on the e3 external chip...

Rebug is not a true debugging firmware. It cannot do the things a true DEX firmware can.

Why not just upgrade your PC if you haven't already? You can run ps2 backups in 1080p or greater.

Atm this wont give you the possibility to downgrade with software only.

Downgrade with extra hardware is still possible though.

But there's nothing stopping them from adding this to/updating their firmware with this right? Assuming they can get PSN working along side everything.
