looking like the e3 dongle is still the way to go for regular users. the amount of hate towards dongles here is ridiculous...its an easy plug and play solution thats cheap compared to the benefits. to say that the majority of people didnt jailbreak their ps3 to run backups would be ignorant... this is how it is in the 360 scene, if your not in the know you have to pay someone to rgh your system plus even if you know how the equipment will cost. cant wait for the dongle

Agree. 99% of people reading this thread are looking for a way to play backup 3.60 + games on their 3.55 (or higher) ps3. If this CEXtoDEX thing doesn't allow this, than 99% of people won't be quite happy with the news. And dongles do exactly what this 99% people want, for a fair price. I don't care about emulators, hombrew and ps2 games on ps3, i do that on my pc...
I read that this will destroy E3 even before they release their stuff... How exactly???

xbox = do have to pay for parts to rgh a xbox = yes
ps3 = do u have to pay some one to put cfw on ps3 = no just install the pup
xbox = do u have to pay to play new games = no
ps3 = do u have to pay to play new games = yes but dont need to , u just getting ripped of by devs

xbox = is it a must to pay for that = yes
ps3 = is it a must to pay for that =no


so the diffence is xbox u need to buy stuff to mod it, where ps3 u dont need to pay play newer games . tb devs just make it so u have to pay .

so really u cant compare a xbox and ps3

57% of all people know that already, geez....

here at ps3hax we have a large number of people who want more than backups/warez. being DRM free is a main goal of ours as it should be/is in every other hacking scene
