I haven't been around in the dex circle for a while now. But as I understand it it's not that easy to get your hands on the debug eboot. So to play newer games you will still need the keys to make a fself from a retail game
I would like to say good job on the release! I just don't think most normal end-users will find this useful. |

Oh boy, I hear there is a lot of crying going around right now
![]() ![]() ![]() Too bad - you can whine everyday about how 'evil' piracy is, yet you freeload your way into 'debug land' without 1) being a licensee 2) having shelled out the cash for a TRUE devkit (or having been ripped off by a guy for the appropriate sum) 3) being much of a programmer to begin with. The people who are crying in their private chans know I'm talking directly to them, so this is for you - set your Internet Connection to 'Disable' and suck it down - no more freeloading ride for you! the eboots they sign are not 3.60+, and they are not debug. they are unsigned beta and release candidate eboots.

Well at this point in time TB would like you to believe the Eboot fairy comes and drops them off once a week. But from my understanding which is limited. It is just that, Someone who has access to the alpha/beta/RTM Eboots passes them off to TB, I would assume they pay this person.

As I understand it, they are not. I can't say I have any knowledge, personally, of what makes them different, I just know I was told by someone who's working to crack the dongles that they are using release candidates (obtained from devnet apparently)
