Retroarch install for dummy

Hello to all from West GA.
Question about installing Retroarch on PS3
Model CECH-2501A
Version 3.65
Ser.# CG828234816-CECH-2501A
I've never done any mods, so bear with me here, all I want to do is play emulators on my PS, I already have 100's of files and emulators on my PC that would be compatible with Retroarch. I read all the tutorials here, but like I said I'm new, and it just confuses me. I'm pretty good with electronics and computers, but I just can't figure out the minimum thing I need to do, or even if I can do, to install Retroarch on my PS3. Nothing more, no extra mods, just play emulators.
Any help, in dummy language, would be appreciated.
Thanks

Are you referring to the progskeet device? Also it says its for 3.7 firmware, will this work for 3.65 as well?
It looks like a hell of a soldering job.
Thanks
