Clarification - I was referring to personal rights (not in a legal sense) and not any sort of binding contract or law. Rights meaning they made it they can do what they please with it regardless if it uses material that the author didn't adhere to any licenses regarding others published work, disregarding binding contracts or using an illegal copy of Sony's SDK.

I think you took that one a little too far as this is a hacking scene and morals, ethics and laws don't seem to matter much to anyone when it comes to producing illegal material regardless of it's legal or illegal use. Actually, most people in this scene change their moral/ethical standards and interpretation of the law to suite their needs for any given situation to justify about anything - if it's to bash developers, flash CFW or copy/play illegal games, harden their e-penis in a forum discussion, etc ...

My Opinion

cex2dex was kownn by the devs for a long time. But no release. Why?
CrashSerious and oct0xor pwned the dongles. Released only the unimportant dongle. Why?
The non soldout devs are knowing all. But didn´t tell the Scene. I do not know why!!!

My moral opinion and ethics remain the same as they always will, reDRM is evil and if a dev deserves to be bashed, then he is going to get bashed.

Also developers that make profit of other peoples work or of Sony's work, deserve zero respect.
