Rebug 3.55 with Sen Enabler/Disabler, in Atlantic Canada, PSN no longer working

Chances are, if you were online, you can stay online. But if you were offline, then you will have to wait for further news it seems. I have not tested if my 4.20 OFW machine is down, or needs updating, but I will try before the night is over.

There is nothing wrong with the "news" as you put it. Feel free not to quote me if it's not worthy. It affects custom firmware PS3's on any of the recent SEN enablers, Rogero CFW with the recent spoof, and anybody using F*ckPSN.

People with Official 4.20 seem to still be able to log in without updating. It is also Malware Monday which is malware designed to change your DNS. The protection servers were taken down today and it's possible that it has affected the PSN servers. If so, then it's only a temporary problem.

I am online right now playing Sims 3....oh wait were you talking about the CFW...yeah that is off line unless you update....I kid I kid, but seriously did we think that this would last, somebody on here said when Rebug released it a few week ago get it while it is hot. that is why I synced all the trophies I got of the past few months and now I am back on my OFW and playing the CFW until it gets PSN back...hopefully next time we can get some DLC love.....

I think this is a false alarm, because my 4.20 PS3 is still online , signed out, and signed back in no problems .

Sony changed the passphrase, PSN is over for CFW users

The NP communication passphrase and signature will be provided
within the Server Management Tools.

Details:
NP communication ID, passphrase, and signature, required for certain PSN
communication services, had been provided on the DevNet thread upon the
completion of the requested Playstation®Network service configurations.
From 2012/07/05 the NP Communication Passphrase and Signature will be provided
within the Server Management Tools.

This change affects all the communication IDs issued after 2012/07/05. It will
not be possible to access the NP communication passphrase or signature in the
support issued after that date.

Only those users who have initially requested the NP communication services and
was provided the files on DevNet thread will have access to the file on the
request threads.

Note that the NP communication passphrase and signature are required with NP
Matching 2 and Title Small Storage.
