i wonder what IDA Pro cost the most so called devs if you dont know its expensive as hell, i bet many of them use pirated versions, i am not saying naehrwert does but i think this statement is kind of silly, it cant be getting worse only getting better, but please dont flame the devs, its sonys fault they are suing everybody look at LG who allowed open bootloaders and profiting from stuff community is developing, same as apple does copy almost everythiung usefull what gets published in cydia

i mean its so worse right now that there are companies who are commercializing warez, how much worser can it be?

imo everything whats hurt sony is a good thing so i am for pirating even if it hits the game producers(BUT game developers anyways get theyre same sallary every month: publishers and big managers are making the profit!)

so i am asking everyone who calls themself hackers or crackers: which side do you stand? the community, the dmr´ers or sonys?

As bubbleboy said lmfao. PS3 scene is dead due to £££ and scaremongering lmfao. i have always had a j.t.a.g 360 and only got into the ps3 scene a few months ago, to see what it was like.

So far from from what i have seen, the sceners are way to bossy and it's no surprise the devs that can do it simply don't want the agro from impatient moaners who dont give anything in return. PSP scene is too blame for that!

the way i think of it is like this. piracy is what sparks unlocking anything and no matter how much anyone denies it you know truthfully yourself that you have indeed tried at least one game or patch or cracked bit of software in your life.

I hope that the Ps3 homebrew scene takes off again but all i see is moaners and fights over nothing.

Only a select group of developers have worked on said mentioned products and you can't generalize and claim that they are all doing so. Obsessing over modification devices that in your mind the scene revolve around and your fondness of obscene images is quite frankly disturbing.

I agree with naehrwert, and I think people should stop "demanding". I been reading about cryptography and even when I have a couple of years of deep knowledge on various programming languages, it is not a easy feat to break the PS3 security.

It takes lot of time and dedication to learn what is needed to break the PS3 security. Its not like buying a "Dummies" learning book and you will find everything there step by step. Breaking the PS3 security goes further than programming languages, it goes to the areas where casual developers don't usually reach because of time/hardware/knowledge/funding/motivation limits.

This scene should be thanking and showing respect to "those" developers who are actually "self-motivated", "working" without any responsibility to do so for free, spending lot of their life-time, with limited resources (and almost no donations, this mean they have to work even more "in real life", to be able to keep up their research).

People forget easily that we had (and still have) great developers contributing to the PS3 scene, like the legendary Graf_Chokolo, again, without any obligation to do so, he and many released their research discoveries for free, because they didn't have any negative feedback from the scene.

But now, we have people "demanding", "insulting", etc.. developers. Have someone stopped to think what would happen if you did the same thing with Graf_Chokolo (for example) ?, do you think he would still sacrifice himself and go to prison with a bunch of people calling him names because he was not releasing stuff "on-time" when "they" wanted?

Im not criticizing anyone in specific, there are good people around, but there are people with no gratitude and moral values that like to treat everyone as their little pet, and that is wrong.

If anyone still calling names and demanding stuff, then you are free to break the PS3 security by yourself, because that is what will happen if you keep pushing the wrong buttons. You will be alone in the darkness, is sad but is what happens when you treat people the way you don't want to be treated.

i tottally agree with you @CaptainCPS-X but its allready happening and people make money from warez and the findings of graf and others! thats just wrong and i would be glad to see someone stop this! but you are totally right about what you say! big up from me too for naehrwert!
