Wasn't it hypothesized that TB and cobra use similar if not the same DRM technique?

All I mean't was that TB does something to allow 3.60+ booting, DEX should surely allow too that if we are to believe TB was developed by a team with DEX / DEX convert hardware?

Or have I got it mixed up?
