Nope wiiflow does no such backup check.

EDIT: ah I get you:
Devolution does the back up check, devolution is just launched by Wiiflow. You will need you originals to play each game.

I have been working on this all afternoon with partial success,... stay tuned

PRO:
devolution generates 16mb GC memory card files in the gc_devo folder with can be swapped in and out with dolphin emulator for windows.

CON:
devolution You must have your original disc to verify you back up once. once this is done it generates a .dvv file on your gc_devo folder.. one per game.

PRO:
Dios mios doesn't require an authenticity check at all.

CON:
Dios Mios requires real memory card or uses NMM (no more memorycard) but nmm is dodgy and hardly works for me.

IMHO DM update 5 wins for me, compatibility is better so far, and you dont need to dig out your originals to varify anything, but devo has streaming audio and WAY better virtual memory card ...

Yup, I have been playing with this trying to baffle the drive and generate fake dvvs... im close, got it nearly working, will try get it done tomorrow

That is a good question, I was just trying to figure it out so anyone could do it by themselves

If you have a PAL copy of crazy taxi, send me your DVV if it loads through devo and I will compare / test it out
