So to sum it up.

The shortest way:
1. Dump NOR with memdump from XMB
2. Get per-console key (is there a way without linux? Nothing against it but I'm very lazy to just install linux, get the key, only to get the poor linux erased on the flashing the DEX firmware part)
3. C2D-it (and maybe check it somehow.. )
4. flash the NOR with jaicrab's self.
5. update to DEX firmware.

right? RIGHT?

you will need linux.

as to people asking this for 4.20 that will never happen unless some keys are found... of course you can dump the nand on 4.20 using a flasher, but what then? XD

have fun everyone and don't go bricking this with this tools that do everything for you, just make sure what you are doing is correct, the tools do the rest.

I'm hoping rebug comes up with a uber streamlined solution for obtaining the dump.

How did they do it for QA mode? didnt that used to have to be done via linux.

@DEFAULTDNB Well with some of the things said by Evilsperm, I am unsure if rebug even cares about this.
