Yes, that's true but you can't fself newer eboots than 3.55. That's why. Or I least is what I've undestood from reading.

The real question is: If I can dump a CECH-3XXX flash via flasher, can I convert it to DEX to play 3.55-- games? That would be a mayor breakthrough. At least for the ones stuck in 3.55+
