Hey thank for this read it was good to see, I did not know that there was an update to PCSX2, I have been using the older version, some game play ok while some lagged a bit, I wish there was a version for the Mac OS cause i have to run Parallels the run PCSX2 on top of that but with 16 GB it is not much issues but I would like to just run it from the Mac just the same

Thinking about PS3 emulation, I really don't see myself wanting to replay most PS3 games 10 years from now. But is it interesting to see developments made

The only problem with ROM managers, is the only system they are usually useful for is MAME. And the only problem with MAME is that it scans every time for ROMS. And the only problem with that is it defeats the purpose of ROM mangers, unless you can create an XML database with all the titles in it that MAME scans every time instead of the ROMS directory. But if you do that, then it thinks you have all the games. SO, if you could create something that takes the games you have and puts it into the database, that would be the best ROM manager ever!

You can't see yourself going back to play Uncharted, or PlayStation All-Stars, or LBP? I can see myself playing those games. They're like classics. Just saying, I love playing games old and new!

Yeah, no SVN builds for Mac. They said the reason is the code is the same on all platforms, so when 1.0 is out it will be out with Linux and Windows as well. I wish the buildbot had Mac OS and Linux builds too.

You could, but it would be kind of difficult considering you would have to take a x86 based emulator, convert it to PPC, then fix everything that broke. Haha. But possible...

Well what it's going to do is take all the tons you have for every system not ins kudos stupid ones like old vic 20's and things like that and databases it like a collection . I'm midway through it I should have a alpha out soon il let you have a look , I'm putting a FTP into it to so can copy across to any console with a file manger and FTP access and some other stuff to . Still a long way to go yet
