Hi all..
Speaking of emulators, i would like to ask a question. I've searched the whole internet for a month now, trying to find if i can put snapshots in roms in FBA Next emulator, make it work somehow like the MAME emulator. I have about 7GB of roms and i don't know which one is which. I noticed that in the directory of FBA Next there are a couple folders , like..icons, preview..etc Any help would be appreciated. |

Yes, i was talking about FBA Next on PS3. I suppose the directories are the same as the PC version. I just have 7GB of roms, doesn't mean i play all of them
. For example, the punisher..we all know that game, i can find it in the rom list, but i would like to have the option to see a cover from the game before i choose to load it. If it is possible on pc version, could you tell me in which folder should i put the snapshots? Thanks in advance..

I'm not a dev at all, but I do have a curious question if that's ok. I keep reading about PS3 being PPC and it's difficult having to convert/use x86 based emulators on it. My question is, instead of converting x86 to PPC, isn't there a way to have a x86 emulator to run all the x86 based emulators on a PPC machine? I think devs have already thought about it before but I never saw any mention of it and I'm curious to know

Actually someone started working on a 360 emulator, he worked on it for a few months, but has posted about it half a year. It's called Xenia and was started by a Google employee, who started the first PSP emulator, pspplayer.
http://www.noxa.org/blog/category/projects/xenia/ And there was a forum member on ngemu.com that claimed to be working on a 360 emu, but never uploaded anything and has mostlikely given up. Also here's a decent discussion on the state of 3DS hacking and emulation, according to it, it's going to be a while: http://forums.ngemu.com/showthread.p...31#post1973949 |

It's mentioned because this isn't just a PS3 news site. And yes, it has "cheat code support". If by that, you mean AR/GameShark codes or manual hex codes/RAM editing.

I can't honestly say the MESS/MAME merger was to my licking... but I understand, still sort of wished they would have kept separate binaries until the merger was better.... or until MESS wasn't... well a MESS. I've been a fan of MAME since the .30 releases, but never been much of a MESS guy. Stand along console emus have always been so much better IMO.
Thanks for the news, I'll always welcome emulation and fan translation news
