Rename the files yourself, because the first one was removed by mf, don't know if somebody reported it or due copy reference!

You need the asia REPACK version!

I got it from a piratebay torrent, applied the eboot, sprx fix and tested ok.
The chocobo race/casino crashhang remains in this version too.

Thanks man! is the chapter 3 freeze issue fixed now for the asia version nrp repack? and have you tested playing the game on external? It says on ps3 homebrew compatibility that it plays on external but that is the duplex ver.,. just making sure before buying an external.

Yes, I played it on external hdd passed chapter 3 and beyond.
As mentioned it will only freeze with the minigames: chocobo races and slot machines at Serendipity Casino part, just like any other versions.
Don't think someone will fix the minigames, you don't need it anyway to finish the game.

thanks for the info. applied the sprx patches and the eboot. just started playing ffxiii-2. yey japanese voice eng. subs! will report back if i encounter any issues.

Actually, that minigames in casino are required for 4 trophy (include plat).

Yep, it won't need to finish the game but for acquire the secret ending, you need to have all of the fragments which is impossible right now due to the casino part missing.

That's what in my way of getting plat. Orz
