Right now it is fat32 and petitboot recognizes the "unpacked" iso but when I try to boot it I get the normal message "system is going down now" and then I loose the video signal and my ps3 locks up. I don't have any burnable dvd's right now.

Weird, I'm getting "System is going down now" and this is trying to boot from a DVD burnt with the iso image.
I'm going to try in a few moments with the image unpacked on USB. Fat32 should be good.
