i tried to downgarde to 3.55 from 4.11 through the recovery menu and i chose the 6th choice it gave me this ((the data is corrupted.(8002f2b5))) and another one ((no applicable data ))

You need a hardware flasher such as E3 to downgrade a machine on firmware higher than 3.55

hello, I am kind of new to all of this. My ps3 is firmware 3.41 from reading this I'm assuming I need 3.55 in order to jailbreak? or is there a different way of doing things with the firmware I currently have. Any suggestions/tips would be appreciated thanks

You can jailbreak 3.41 ofw but all the goodies are on 3.55. Download 3.55 and update your ps3 via usb with 3.55 firmware. Then, you van follow this guide.

i guess the fw that is on your ps3 it higher than 3.55 eg 3.60,3.61, 4.00.4.11. or 4.20 or 4.21 yes or no ?

So i have 4.21 I'll try to take out the game with the ps3 sorry i search this day from 9 hour for an jailbreak an nothing works -.-
