I don't wanted say that idiot is someone who brick console (this could be ridiculous). I want say that idiot is someone who brick it not knowing that he's doing and not knowing how to reverse this situation (if possible). And as I read in your post (maybe I have not understand it ;]) one of the reasons for keeping info from public is prevent such people from bricking they console.

And yes, I want convert my PS3. Maybe I'll screw it and when I ask for help - when I miss some info which I must read before doing this - you can call me and idiot. I will be not feel offended, insulted etc. This could be a really suggesting impulse for making much care next time.

Ok not new to the site. Only post when I have something useful to say. So take it as you will ignore ban w/e.

Kept my silence here along time because of issues like the ones over the past few days. First off ya talk about ethics and moral? This site is about hacking and talks frequently about playing pirated games. All I have to say is don't stomp on your own foot hit freakin hurts.

Secondly you moan and groan about this information getting leaked. Yet you posted it here where everyone could see it. I know you thought it was news. So perhaps you should question the news worthy and the potentialy damaging before posting. I know you will say "well it was leaked on dev" and I say really? honestly out of everyone out there who can post news on this page or can post on wiki. Its a wiki site why didn't a dev go and edit the post so it wouldn't make sense. Honestly most the people who come to this site wouldn't know how to hex let alone run hack something. So reading things on dev or any technical forum would only confuse them. So why post it.

Third ya ***** all ya want about dongles and what not. The devs cry I don't support piracy. Well I have news of my own here. Is it ya don't condone piracy or is it you only condone it if it makes you money? Joeblow can complain all they want about the price of dongles and want something free. But in reality they just don't like the price of the dongle being sold. Dongle no dongle it all boils down to this you can hack why cant you post the info under an assumed name at a library or other public access places. An hide like the rest of the real dev's. You think anyone know who c4e is on the xbox scene? hell no because he is smart about how and when he post his stuff.

Getting to the nut of it all. Lower the dongle price where jack ass fred can afford it and you will make money all the same. Or stop wit the afraid to post cause sony might get me. while u guys sit here at ps3hax.com....and rant go take a look at ps3crunch cex>dex thread that alone will give u a perspective on life or rather that we are wastin our time in a scene where the ppl who has to help and spread their knowledge for free treat us the end user like dogs,and throw bread crums at us thats not wanted anymore.....did u knw that most of the devs on the irc had psn for months on end pirating stuff which they were against or so they said....and when they heard that the tb team was close to beating them to the punch they then decided to throw the crums to the dogs knwing that sony would patch it at the end of the month,i rather take this **** from sony instead of those *******...atleast i knw who am doing business with and am not being ripped off....wow its a very sad scene indeed.

I am new to the site. Was a follower on another "scene" site but it became childish and caddy. Where opinions became fire fights and the objectives became opinions. I mean we all as a community come to these sites for the interesting things people design and make for our beloved ps3's. The news articles on anything ps3 are not bad at times are a good way to fill the void, just like news papers and the news does. Fill the curiosity of our brains for whatever the reason. It's easy to captivate people's minds with anything a few trigger words and were hooked. Not to get off topic but I think our real problem in the scene is not dongles or shady devs, but our perception of how things are being handled. Times have changed its called evolution. As each console was born a way to circumvent it was made whether it be as simple as soldering some wires to a mod chip or a TI calculator. As a scene we need to evolve with it and stop looking for instant gratification. Let's look at it this way why did you buy your ps3, simple the game experience, graphics, sound, free online game play just to name a few. We paid a decent amount of money for our ps3 games and extras. Well the people that made it need to get paid, just like the devs that design the software to do the things they do so we as a community have a better experience. Regardless if it's a free release or you are required to pay. As long as the stuff you pay for is worth what your getting then the complaints shouldn't be there. I as many give credit to the devs that do it for free but don't critique the ones that ask for it. I believe information should be free, as long as it doesn't affect the integrity of the topic. We talk about dongles and not sharing that info, well that's piracy and that is an integrity breaker. A leak of this magnitude whether it be harmful or helpful time will tell. The question that will be answered moving forward will be if the scene is going to be buyers or sellers. And what I mean by that is are we as a community gonna stand together and figure out what was put in front of us or are we going to sell out and whine about having to pay for something that could be figured out together. Guess we will see how evolved we are.
