Well, since now, you won't have to do all that, the only thing you will need to have/install is Otheros (Petitboot) and that's it, the image of the FULL LINUX distro with glevand's kernel patches and all is in this tutorial.

it's like with the "ss patches" and making dumps, it's all the same guys, identical dumps(yes if u flash with e3 for example dont forger to Byte reverse the DEX-dump before flashing

Hey man, do you have Metldrpwn compiled against petitboot's kernel ? I can't instmod the precompiled version from the wiki page. It doesn't work on ribbon either.

I've dumped NOR ( and eEID ) from petitboot.
for linux n00bs. It doesn't work until you remount your usb drive as RW.

# mount -n -o remount,rw /dev/sda1 /tmp/petitboot/mnt/sda1

then you dump with
dd if=/dev/ps3nflasha of=/tmp/petitboot/mnt/sda1/cexnor.bin bs=1024

Yes I forgot to mention you should have a flash drive or external hdd formatted to ext4 and mount it to /tmp/petitboot/mnt/sda1
But if you already have a ext4 flash drive or hdd plugged in before you launch petitboot it will already be mounted. Sometimes I find that I need to reformat then remount the flash drive/external hdd or it wont write to it for some reason (something to do with petitboot)

So down to business again, I dont have metldrpwn compiled handy right now as its on one of my other systems I dont have access to for the next few weeks and I really dont feel like recompiling it and making the script cuz I am busy working on another project but im sure someone else can knock it up pretty fast, you'll need metldrpwn.ko, appldr-metldrexploit350.self, and a bash script.

Other than a few end-users casting suspicion/blame on some devs, the fighting has mostly been amongst the devs themselves re: this cex2dex leak... which gives me hope for this "scene". It means there are still "good guys" out there who want to end the BS once and for all. I was starting to think the whole damned works of them were somehow involved with TB, thank goodness someone finally stepped up to the plate (leaked the method) and thank goodness there are some devs supporting the leak. My opinion is, and always has been if you hack stuff, do it because you love doing it, and share everything you've learned, regardless of outcome. Graf followed this motto, and he got royally screwed by sony, but you know what? He is a legend now. Not a shamed and discredited sellout/scene leech. I have a pretty good idea what some of you 1337 "devs" have been doing the last year or so, and so do a lot of others. What now? Your game is up, the gravy train just derailed, and there are motherf*ckers in this scene who *will* name names. Do you think FairyOpa will ever be welcomed into *any* scene, *ever* again? He's the most public figure in the hall of shame at this point, but us curious types can be very inquisitive. You people chose money over e-fame, and sure, you sucked a bit of money out of fools and noobs, but us smart folk knew this was f*cked from the get-go. And now you all need to just go away.
