i want to purchase a HDD (
Transcend StoreJet 35T 1 TB 3.5" External Hard Drive) i'm wondering if its compatible with the ps3 because i know ps3 only read FAT32 but the HDD is SATA

No, you'll have to split those files

Use ps3split. Choose the game as input folder, and choose output file to the game folder on your external hdd.

It will split any 4gb+ files for you.

And Multiman will play the game fine.

Yes, if you use multiman it will reconstruct the 4gb+ files and cache them on your internal HDD

No, only the split files will be stored on your internal HDD if you're gonna use caching
