I though you were going to make a dump, and upload it here so I could check it:

Ah well. Make sure the clip is flush to the motherboard and tape it down with strong tape. Then Do this:

1. Delete everything from your sd card.
2. Put this update.bin on the sd card.
3. Put switches 1+2 up, the rest down.
4. Power on the PS3. All the blue leds should light up at once. Leave the PS3 on.
5. Put switches 1+3 up, the rest down.
6. Press reset on the e3 flasher.
7. Press start and wait for leds to light up 1 by one. When it is done they will alternate blink.
8. Take out the sd card and upload the backup here. So I can check it. If it is good, I will tell you what to do next.

The first error I think was this:
Code:
10001111
Failed to write PS3 BIOS
And the other is
Code:
11000100
Not the right PS3 for this backup
Both can happen because the clip is not installed correctly.

@playerkp420 - Ok I took apart the PS3 Again. Clean the pins on the NOR Clip and Chip with 70% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol. Put the PS3 back together. Emptied the SD Card and put the update.bin you provided in. Put the SD in the PS3. Put the first 2 switches up and the rest down. I powered up the PS3. It powered up fine with alternating flashing blue lights. I than put the 1st and 3rd switches up and the rest down. I am now at the part where you press reset on the E3 flasher as you said in step 6. Where is this button? Is it the one on top of the e3 flasher card? Because I have no idea how to press that because the giant Power supply is in the way.

EDIT- Okay I was able to press RESET using a slim knife and pressing it down on the reset button. But than when I press Start in step 7 of your post. I am getting a 10001100 - Error initializing the PS3 BIOS. Now what?

@dredred334 - Once you solder this point together. This will allow you to keep your PS3 on with out it shutting right back off. You must have the first switch up in FLASH FUN mode otherwise it will shut off. Follow the steps playerkp420 is giving me in this forum as they seam to be working. The reason the PS3 Bricks is because when it detects someone is trying to mess with the Firmware it will brick it's self so you can do anything else with it.

I messed up. It was supposed to be 1+2 down, and the rest up. To update the flasher with that update.bin. But you probably can't do that if your ps3 will not stay on with the first switch down.

The reset button is on the front of the flasher. The red button under the esata cable plug. It says reset.

So you have the clip on good now?
power the ps3 with switches 1+3 up, and the rest down. press start and make a backup. Then post it here.

@playerkp420 - The button under the Esata Plug-in is not a RESET button. But yes I have the clip on good now. When I try to make a new dump 1+3 Switches up and the rest down. I now get the error 10001100 - Error initializing the PS3 BIOS...WTF..

Do you have skype so I can chat you instead of waiting for a forum reply?

If you want I can help you, but you need to stick to one thread. Let's try click here. Upload and post your backup file in that thread.
Then we can go from there.

It is really rude to hijack someones thread.

I guess it doesn't say reset, but yes it is the reset button. To change functions while flasher is on you press that button. The blue leds go out then alternate flash. For example, if I want to go from making a backup to one button downgrade. I would change the switches accordingly, then press that reset button.

That error means you do not have your clip on good enough.

Take a look at my post here from this sticky thread.

Is there any little transistors in the way from the clip being flush to the mobo. Look at those pics to see what I had to do to my clip.
