Well the MFW builder may still work but the DEX firmware is way different than that of a CEX one and most if not all the patches may well fail.

But it's possible WIHTOUT additional homebrew/programms, right?

I'll just wait for:

1. Noob-Guide for CEX -> DEX
2. Noob-Guide for the problem stated above

I think it won't take that long until something's being released though.
At least compared to the 1 year we've been waiting for THIS awesome thing! =D

oh, that's odd, then why does my mfw with peek poke, that allows all sorts of packages except real retails, and that contains patches for otheros++ works?

Really that neat. like I said many of the patches may fail. I certainly didn't say they will fail. don't believe this will allow playback of 3.56 plus titles as a backup though but again haven't tried this myself.

To the Devs that put there hard work and energy into this work thank you much for it. It's a shame the leak was made as this is not at all end user ready.... there is far too much research left to be done into all this before a release was made...... Shame sony will likely patch it all very soon..... Hope you guys have an ace or two hidden up your sleeves!

To the haters saying that info should be freely shared and bringing up Graf and what not! Yes Graf shared what he learned in do time! the man didn't learn something new and then within ten minutes was all over the web blabing about it. he like any smart dev held critical information back to help protect it from the prying eyes of sony until the info was able to actually be put to use by an end user! This leak is no where near end user ready and I have to agree with the stance of the devs that it's not exactly a great thing for every 1337 kid with a PC and half a brain to have a DEX console. I'm not saying they should have kept it completely private but **** Now sony will patch this before it can really do any good for anyone!

is the process of switching back to cex just as complicated or? and if you switch back to cex will you then be valid for psn again (assuming cfw gets access to psn again?
